Stayed at Vector’s place for a long weekend away with girlfriends. Very clean, nice layout and easily accessible. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Ames!

It was a smooth lil place

Place was spotless. Close to everything including getting on the freeways. Nice restaurants and extremely close to downtown. Gated Secure parking, access into the building needs fob to get in, property is well light. It has a gym, swimming pool and great sitting area to meet with friends and family. Would come back again.

Right next to hospital perfect for me

Locale was great for my business trip. Amenities were as represented. Lighting inside apartment would have been improved for working with brighter/more lamps. Parking was great.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this Airbnb. The unit had a serious roach issue throughout the property. I saw roaches daily in the kitchen, on the counters, in the shower, on the bedroom wall, in the living room, on the bed, and even floating in the Keurig water. This was extremely disturbing and unacceptable. The unit also had maintenance and cleanliness issues. The bathroom towel rack was taped to the wall, two-bathroom lights were out, the vent near the kitchen was filthy, and the outside stairs were dirty. The noise level was also a major problem. There is a club/restaurant beneath the unit, and the loud music went until about 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday and until around midnight other nights. This was not clearly disclosed. There is no elevator, so guests must carry luggage up the stairs, which may not be suitable for seniors or anyone with mobility concerns. I also had to fight with Airbnb for a refund. Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay! Never again!
